Learn simple techniques for preventative health to support resiliency. Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us how to align with the seasons for optimal health and balance. Daily routines become a solid foundation for our health and support us to deal with the everyday stress of life. In Ayurveda, these daily routines are considered so important, they've named them, dinacharya.

Dinacharya, or daily routines are powerful preventative measures that will promote clarity and resiliency long into the winter! This workshop will inspire and ground you in self-care rituals that allow you to thrive!

During this two hour workshop, we will:

  • Experience the basics of ayurvedic self-care with oil massage (abhyanga), neti rinsing, and dry brushing.
  • Learn about foods and spices that support balance in the cold seasons.
  • Establish daily rhythms from Ayurvedic wisdom to enhance resiliency.
  • Practice restorative yoga postures to calm your nervous system.

Big River Yoga is a local, independently owned yoga studio in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis.  Our mission is to awaken the consciousness of people to realize our interconnection.  We offer a variety of yoga classes for beginners, continuing and advanced students. We also offer monthly restorative yoga, Thai massage classes and a variety of workshops with visiting instructors.  Massage therapy complements our yoga offerings and we specialize in Thai Massage.  Our RTT (Registered Thai Therapist) and instructor, Chris Gordon, leads Thai massage trainings.
