KICKBOXING FOR SELF DEFENSE

This martial art is arguably one of the most effective self defense fighting styles. The workout and practice of this martial art improves overall strength, balance, coordination, speed, and reaction time. In kickboxing, you’re not limited to fists – you can use knees, elbows, and of course legs and feet. It is known as the “art of eight limbs.” You can attack and prevent attack from a distance or in close quarters.

KICKBOXING FOR WOMEN

Women love kickboxing for many reasons. We have many female kickboxing students at our school who are taking and absolutely love our Muay Thai kickboxing because it’s real kickboxing! It gives you an intense cardio workout and helps you burn fat while teaching real techniques for attacking and defending against attacks.

      Located at 9 Tolles Street in West Hartford, Connecticut, we have a staff of diversified instructors and offer martial arts instruction in Mixed Martial Arts/MMA, Kung-Fu, Karate, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, Jujutsu, Freestyle Kickboxing, Judo, Boxing, Capoeira, Kali/Silat, Kettlebell Training, and soft style arts… all under one roof!

     We are open six days throughout the week. We have a 9,000-square-foot facility with a contemporary training area that includes a boxing ring and MMA cage and a traditional training area for the more formal arts. With a shower for students, a full fitness center, and 12 staff members, we are arguably the most fully functional martial arts school in the state of Connecticut, and we are ready to help you reach your training goals in a variety of styles!
