Our affordable expert math tutors administer an tutoring program consisting of two engaging components: a basic thinking component and a critical thinking component.
About our Math Tutoring ProgramBasic thinking math tutoring is aligned to the Common Core Standards and covers the following subject areas: Numbers, Arithmetic, Measurement, and Equations.
Critical thinking math enables students to develop depth perception, problem solving, and reasoning skills, and covers the following study areas: Patterns and Relationships, Geometry, Measurement, Problem Solving, and Reasoning.

Common Core Standards
Simultaneous learning of Critical Thinking along with Basic Thinking helps with:
- Learning new concepts on paper first
- Improvement of problem solving skills through various manipulatives and supplemental materials
- Well-systemized assessments
Ages: 3.5 through 14 years of age
Student:Instructor Ratio: 3:1
How often? Students come 1x or 2x per week for 60 minutes per visit & are encouraged (not required) to take home materials and do 15 minutes a day from home when they are not in the center

The active use of learning materials creates a learning environment where students will develop critical and analytical thinking skills. This is accomplished through developing depth perception, location and spatial relationship skills by utilizing our learning materials such as Numerical Figures, Blocks and Shapes, Clear Paper, Colored Blocks, Mirror, and Wooden Blocks. Difficulty and question variations are introduced systematically throughout all levels. - Math tutoring allows students to utilize their skills in all areas of study.
Performing well in math tutoring not only helps students in mathematics, but is also helpful for applying their knowledge to other areas of academic studies. Skills that students will develop in math tutoring are broad. In most cases, students will be ahead of their class and their peers. Ideally, students will advance faster in all areas of academic studies and thus become more confident in all areas of study.

JEI Math offers a complete program for grades Pre-K to 9 and encourages conceptual understanding. Each level of the JEI Math program is designed with specific study objectives and provides a step-by-step approach which makes learning easy for everyone. The JEI Math curriculum is aligned with the State Standards, covering all major domains: Number Concepts, Operations, Geometry, Measurement, Data Analysis, and more.
