Details

Since 1986, Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado (MTIC) has offered students intensive training in the field of massage therapy. We teach effective therapeutic massage as well as a wide range of supporting skills to help meet the demands placed on professional massage therapists today.

We emphasize integrative skills that are useful in clinical settings to treat and alleviate chronic pain, stress disorders, soft tissue strain, and systemic imbalances. A vast range of massage techniques and skills are taught with the intention of developing therapists who may use these techniques with the high level of proficiency and expertise demanded of a massage therapist in professional practice. Students are trained to work in a general massage therapy practice that typically treats clients for stress reduction, health maintenance, and increased well-being. These services are frequently offered to athletic clubs and teams, resorts, health spas, beauty spas, wellness centers, corporate health centers and various health-oriented groups and service centers. Our students graduate with the skills needed to be successful in all fields of massage therapy.

Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado (MTIC) offers students intensive training in the field of massage therapy. We teach effective therapeutic massage as well as a wide range of supporting skills to help meet the demands placed on professional massage therapists today.
We have created a program for students interested in pursuing massage therapy as a career. We are proud of our method of teaching medical massage and honored to support this important trend in holistic health care. For too long health care lacked adequate choices for the individual in need of alternative care. Fortunately, times do change. Today, time-honored therapies are re-emerging to claim their rightful place in health care.

MTIC’s Program is a 900-hour Medical Massage Curriculum, giving our graduates a solid foundation to work in the spa, resort, sports, rehabilitation, healthcare fields or start their own practice. The Program takes 12 months for the day track and 15 months for the night track to complete.

After completion of this program, students are eligible for Licensure as a massage therapist (LMT) through the Department Of Regulatory Agencies.
