Students can participate in our Intensive English Program to improve their general English. It is a high-quality intensive program specializing in academic preparation, but is also very beneficial for students seeking to improve their skills for personal enrichment or employment reasons. Start dates each four weeks throughout the year.
The hours of instruction are 9:00 – 3:15 Monday – Thursday and 9:00 – 12:00 on Friday. Students may elect to have private tutoring each day (30 minutes of free instruction). The core classes are reading/writing/grammar and listening/speaking/pronunciation with an elective course also offered each day. Students are tested and placed in their appropriate skill area in each core class.
GLI is an accredited private English language school, established in 1990 and located in downtown, St. Paul, Minnesota, an area known for safety, cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent education. We are authorized by the US government to issue document I-20s for F1 visas. We also have a summer campus location for youth in West Palm Beach, Florida.
