A Parent to Parent Teacher is a parent or professional who has lived with ADHD in the family, and has become an expert on ADHD through our certification training.

As a Parent to Parent Licensed Partner you will able to train families as part of your ADHD practice. You can use our cobranded marketing and training materials to promote your classes, receive ongoing training in the newest ADHD research and treatment information, and receive support from CHADD to spread the word.

Anyone who has earned certification as a Parent to Parent Licensed Teacher has participated in an intense two-and-a-half days of training in the Parent to Parent curriculum and has made a commitment to teach Parent to Parent classes in his or her local community.

CHADD - A Non-Profit Organization

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), is a national non-profit, tax-exempt (Section 501 (c) (3) ) organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. In addition to our informative Web site, CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications and treatments affecting individuals with ADHD. These materials include Attention magazine, News From CHADD, a free electronically mailed current events newsletter, as well as other publications of specific interest to educators, professionals and parents.

Today, children with ADHD are eligible for special education services or accommodations within the regular classroom when needed, and adults with ADHD may be eligible for accommodations in the workplace under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
