Details

In this 2 hour workshop via Zoom you will learn the basics of embroidery and how to stitch this beautiful vintage wild rose.

Prior to the class you will receive via email a PDF file with the 14 pages stitch guide and pattern so you can start looking at what you will learn. The email will explain some details on how to get ready and the Zoom link to log in.

The workshop is ideal for beginners that would like to try this technique called silk shading or thread painting. I will take you through the whole process, even on how to thread the needle if you need to!

You are welcome to buy the supplies listed in the guide so you can start stitching during the class or you can also just watch and then do it on your own. Whatever you would prefer!

This is an easy going and fun class. The project is more accessible than how it may appear as it only has 9 different DMC thread colors. If you ever wanted to learn this technique do not hesitate in booking one of the dates that suits you best.

Looking forward to helping you get started in this beautiful hobby.

I created Clara Stitching as a way to chart my journey and progress in a hobby I love. I'm a full time mum of two boys and dedicate all the free time - there's not much! -  to learn, create and stitch different projects. Here I keep a record of my embroideries, as well as the patterns I have created.

I have also discovered a passion for teaching others who are interested in this beautiful pastime. This takes the form of virtual workshops. But my patterns are also available for you to have a go at, if you are already proficient in this art.

I am also happy to offer my embroidery as commissions or little pieces of art. Hope you like them as much as I enjoyed embroidering them.
