Georgia Listing the Seller

The course provides an overview of the listing process and seller agency as well as the applications of the Georgia Exclusive Seller Listing Agreement and the Non-exclusive Seller Listing Agreement. Students will learn how to prepare and present an effective, informative marketing plan to sellers; handle the hazard areas regarding the accuracy of listing information, and follow-up after a listing appointment.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

- Relate the steps involved in the listing process; Discuss the Brokerage Relationships and Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA) as it applies to agent's and broker's duties; Explain your company's agency policy on working with sellers
- Demonstrate the use of the Georgia Exclusive Seller Listing Agreement (form F1); Discover how it applies to relationships, duties, marketing, and disclosure
- Describe the application of the Non-exclusive Seller Listing Agreement; Demonstrate how to use the Authorization to Show Unlisted Property form; Identify your duties to the buyer and seller
- Indicate the information contained in marketing portfolios; Clarify what conveys with the property and what the sellers plan to take with them; Demonstrate how to handle the hazard areas regarding the accuracy of listing information; Discuss the issues an agent may deal with involving property in estate, trustees, divorce, power of attorney; Describe the follow-up steps taken after the listing appointment
