OVERVIEW
HR's role is based on mission and strategy in an organization. This webinar will discuss the basics roles of the HR that they need to perform as a part of everyday duty. Of them, key anti-discrimination laws & protected classes, the meaning of disparate treatment, and adverse impact will be the center of the discussion. Apart from this, the rights employers have in an organization, recruiting and behavioral-based interviewing, the importance of goodness of "fit in" employee selection will be successfully addressed in a nutshell.
The webinar will gradually take its pace in discussing onboarding basics and the 4 Cs of onboarding, key considerations in managing employees, seven steps to employee recognition, basics of employment at will, and five considerations in determining just cause, will be brought into the light. In the latter half, progressive discipline and why you might not want it, discussing seven steps to effective corrective action, twelve parts of disciplinary documentation will be our part of the conversation.
