Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga and literally means science of life. It is an approach to living in harmony with the universe, the seasons, and nature in order to achieve optimum health. The Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant (ALC) Certification Program is a 500-hour course, divided into six modules, which take place over a period of 4 months and include classroom training and home study.
Upon Completion of this Certification Course, You Will:
- Know the basic principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them to living a healthy lifestyle.
- Be able to make recommendations to clients regarding their overall lifestyles according to their unique constitution in order to restore balance to their lives.
- Be eligible to continue your education to become a Certified Ayurveda Practitioner.Further explore the Integrative Amrit Method (I AM) of Ayurveda, or learn more about your stay at the Amrit Yoga Institute. If you have questions or have special housing arrangements, call our registration office at 352-685-3001. Price is $3,540 including room and board if you pay in full before 11/1/16. After 11/1/16 regular price with room and board is $4.040.

To accomidate our guests the property includes a lodge, cabin, main house and Wellness Ayurveda Center. We feature healthy and tasty vegetarian food.
This secluded haven offers the ideal setting for a retreat of self-discovery and exploration of life's mysteries, away from the distractions of day-to-day life. Here you can immerse youself in a supportive, nurturing environment and emerge enriched and transformed.
