Narcotics Buy-Bust Operation

This 16 Course is designed specifically for training Law Enforcement Narcotics Units and other units that will be conducting Buy-Bust Operations. This course will also define each law enforcement participant and cover the role of the undercover officer and confidential informant, as well as controlling and managing the informant.  Additionally, various other related subjects will be presented, such as threat assessments, undercover phone call management, technical surveillance equipment for monitoring and recording, preparing an operational plan,  arrest of foreign nationals, the handling and processing of drugs, money, and weapons, and the take-down/arrests of targets of investigations, to include practical exercises.  After completion of this course the student will have the tools necessary to initiate, manage, and supervise a narcotics buy-bust operation. This class is taught by municipal law enforcement narcotics detectives as well as Federal DEA Agents.
