This 10-hour program is intended to provide instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health topics to entry level participants. The program has several mandatory presentations along with a selection of optional topics
to better customize training to the intended audience.
Safety Training Services, Inc. presents this comprehensive training program intended to provide instruction on a variety of mandatory and optional topics in General Industry Safety and Health to entry level participants. This 10-Hour program is presented with a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. Team development skills are emphasized in all aspects of this course. After attending the 10-Hour course, students will have covered:

This 10-Hour program is presented with a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises. Team development skills are emphasized in all aspects of this course. - Introduction to OSHA (mandatory)
- Walking/Working Surfaces (mandatory)
- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention and Protection Plans (mandatory)
- Electrical Hazards (mandatory)
- Personal Protective Equipment (mandatory)
- Hazard Communication (mandatory)
In addition to the mandatory subjects, 2 elective subjects and 2 optional subjects will be covered. Classes can also be customized, job specific, to the attending audience:
- Hazardous Material Flammable/Combustible (elective)
- Machine Guarding (elective)
- Confined Space Entry Awareness (optional)
- Lock Out/Tag Out (optional)

Safety Training Services, Inc. [STS] is a group of retired or practicing firefighters, paramedics, HAZMAT specialists and active rescue team members with first-hand knowledge of the field.
Training Services: We offer training programs meeting the requirements of OSHA and where applicable, EPA/RCRA standards.
Field Services: We also offer confined space/industrial rescue stand-by teams which can be deployed with a crew and associated equipment to any site in order to provide on-site rescue and retrieval of downed entrants to satisfy 1910.146 (k) requirements.
Technical Services: We service and sell safety-related equipment. We also service fire extinguishers and kitchen hood fire suppression systems.
