This course will teach the basic rules for the introduction of crime scene evidence in a courtroom. Participants will prepare documents based upon a mock crime scene and take the witness stand using learned techniques during questioning by Robert
A. Rush, a dual-certified criminal and civil trial attorney—1 of only 4 in the state of Florida.
Outline
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Admit a piece of evidence and the required proof regarding chain of custody
- Prepare themselves to answer prosecutorial direct examination
- Defend his/her processes during defense cross-examination

Established in 2012, the CSI Academy of Florida is an educational facility that combines lecture with hands-on experience to provide the knowledge and understanding for individuals interested in Crime Scene Investigation.
