The Solo Level CDL Program provides an in-depth introduction to long haul driving; progressively building a strong knowledge and skill base that goes far beyond the basics needed for the CDL test.
Our industry-experienced instructors bring a realistic, objective wealth of trucking information into the classroom. Their experiences and knowledge is evident as well throughout the practical skills modules. The instructors continually infuse the carefully structured educational components with their insights gained from their many years of experience on the road.
Topics covered include DOT regulations, vehicle / control systems, equipment maintenance, CPR / First Aid and extreme driving techniques. Also discussed is the industry's impact on family life with a special emphasis on work and personal financial management. Road and range practice, using modern equipment found in carrier fleets, offers students the opportunity to learn safe, efficient driving techniques and develop proficiency.
This Program has a total of 114 hours, of which 60 hours are BTW.
This Program can accommodate up to 3 students at a time and may take 2 to 3 weeks depending upon the number of students enrolled.
Successful completion of Solo Level CDL Program qualifies a graduate to work in a wide range of positions, including non-supervised solo driving.

CDLSS focuses on the individual driver and puts a very strong emphasis on mentorship. CDLSS is a driver training facility whose singular mission is to teach students all aspects of safe CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) operation.
One of the unique aspects of CDLSS is its one-on-one application of high quality industry training materials. The Programs are priced competitively, not necessarily the cheapest; however, they offer the best educational value of any existing school in the State of Colorado.
