Description: An Economics degree, is a general degree intended to teach problem-solving techniques as well as basic economic principles. Thus, you will typically take a variety of courses, such as statistics, calculus, and computer science, in addition to your economics classes. Keep in mind what your career goals are as you plan what classes to take. Two courses in calculus, for example, is the bare minimum most schools require for graduate work.
