Details

This course will serve as an orientation to the Working Professional Pharm.D. program. It will provide the student with the foundation, principles and skills necessary to succeed in the program. The course will include an introduction to the policies and procedures and operation of the eight body-system pharmaceutical care courses in the program. Students will become familiar with problem-solving skills necessary for designing, recommending, and monitoring patient-specific pharmacotherapy. The course will also include introductory modules on pharmacokinetics, literature evaluation, drug information, and other clinical topics.
