Horticulture is the branch of agriculture that deals with the science, technology, art, and business of plant cultivation. It includes the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, medicinal plants, herbs, sprouts, mushrooms, algae, flowers, seaweeds and non-food crops such as ornamental trees and plants, and grass. It also includes landscape and garden design, plant conservation, landscape restoration, construction, maintenance, and arboriculture.
