BIO 175 is the first half of a two semester course sequence designed to fulfill the needs of students in the allied health career programs for preparation in the general area of human anatomy and physiology. This course introduces some basic biological
principles and laboratory techniques before beginning the more traditional systemic treatment of human anatomy and physiology. Early emphasis is on introductory biochemistry, general cytology and histology. In sequence thereafter the following systems are
covered: integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous.
