Youth Leadership Development, Series 2 (CPE, CEU)

This course is available 24/7 365 days a year.

Students participate in two levels of online leadership training, Youth Leadership Development, Series 1 and 2. Volunteer hours with the designated organization is encouraged as follow-up to the certification. This can be made mandatory before receiving the certification, or it can be on the honor system.

Overview

The Youth Leadership Development, Series 2 certification program helps students develop leadership skills in five areas:

• Effective Facilitation of Meetings

• Organization Skills

• Project Planning

• Team Building

• Time Management

When enrolled in this leadership program, the learner will complete 5 courses and receive an online, digitally signed course certificate for each. Each course is 5 clock hours and eligible for CEU/CPE credit. Once all 5 courses have successfully been completed, a Leadership Certification will be available online and 2.5 CEU or 25 CPE hours are granted.

To check on your progress, go to My Account and click on My Transcript. You can see which courses you have successfully completed by looking at the Certificate Granted column. When you have completed all five courses, return to Course Room and click on the Youth Leadership Development, Series 2 link. The button to view and print your Leadership Certification will be activated.

Note: Once a course is started (clicking on the course link on your Personal Course Schedule), you have 6 weeks to complete the course before it expires.

The course and the content is free to take. If you wish to print certificates, transcripts or take competency assessments you must subscribe.

Certificates - $10 per year
Transcripts - $15 per year
Competency Assessments - $35 per year

All three purchased at the same time is $40 per year a savings of $20!!
