(AHA) Heartsaver AED with First Aid is a 5 hour course that covers basic CPR, AED, and First Aid training for the lay rescuer.
It is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR, using the AED, how to relieve choking on an adult, and basic First Aid training. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW)
technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.
