5 Week FX Course

We will meet 4 times a week from 10 am to 3:30 pm for 5 weeks. This is a full blown FX boot camp. We also spend some extra time in the shop while working on a project if needed. We may invite students to lend a hand to real projects such as commercials or movies, giving them real experience and real credits for their resume.

Remember, we are a real working special effects shop for most of the year. We only do a couple courses each year for 4 to 8 people each time so we can continue to work in the industry and make sure that our small amount of students have the best chance to get to work. We do everything we can to get you working. Since we are a real shop, we know many shop owners. We have had great success and we use our connections to get you hired. And yes, we do hire our students when we can. We even try to get them working on real projects in the shop after class hours so some people leave with real credits.

 Cost for the NEW 5 WEEK FX COURSE

The new 5 week course is $5400.00 total. This includes all of  the supplies we use. This is a fraction of any other makeup course out there and you will already be working in a real shop. We only offer this a couple times a year since we work for a living and we only take 4 to 8 people each time because small classes give you the attention you need and lets us do more for each graduate. We do everything we can to get you in the industry and get you working.

We will be teaching many of  skills needed to work in a FX shop: We are a real working shop so we make sure you can be hired! We even hire our own students at our shops.  Here are some of the skills you will learn:
